So, i had a guy finally put an offer up on the bike, he low balled me to 4500, i was asking 6, just to get a high starting price, i countered, he came back with 4,800.. I am really debating wether i should take 4800 for it, or hold out and get and extra couple hundred bucks and push it to 5-5,500.. what would you guys do.

 

What's all done to it? condition? miles?

 

Nothing's done to it other than powdercoating, condition is virtually flawless execpt for 2 rock chips the size of a piece of lead on a pencil, so not really there, miles right around the 19,500 mark. BB locally is 6, but that would take a squid to get that price on it.

 

I wouldn't take 4800 maybe 5300 but i don't know what used bike go for in your area

 

i paid 5500 for my 01 with around 2.5k on it....so maybe 4800 would be a fair price?

 

Yea they go for 5,500-6 in my area generally speaking, northwest is expensive when it comes to bikes, I'll hold out, if i can get an extra 6-700 bucks, there's no point not to, just gotta wait for feb to roll on in.
