Hi,I just a 98 F3.No owner manual.I can' find the seat lock.How do you remove the seat?.Thanks

 

i dont think it has a seat latch. I think it is the smae as the 97 F3 and you have to take off both til fairings, Then remove the bolts that hold the seat to the sub frame.

take the back right and left fairings off the bike and remove the two bolts near the back of the seat on both sides. then you should be able to lift the rear of the seat and slide it backwards and out.
