Default is there a seat latch?

Hello
new to this site and to Hondas
I have a 1995 CBR600
how do you remove the one piece seat?

Nope, check out Hurricanes responce in your other thread. Some guys add a lock mechinism so that you can have a *seat release* but there not ment to be storage as stock

i added a small piece of plastic that the the latch that is already there on my 97 would catch. i also closed off the side of the storage compartment so that nothing would fall out

There is no latch... to get the seat off, you need to take the two tail plastics off, then there will be one bolt on either side, take them out and you got your seat off. I completely understand u on this one i spent like 3 days trying to figure that out when i got my f3, and i didnt know about cbrforum then so i was SOL haha
