F3 hard start
I have a 95 600 f3 that is extremely hard to start. To get it to succesfully start i have to take the gas tank off open the air box and pour a little gas in each section of the carb. all 4. then it starts. At first i thought it was a fuel filter not getting enough fuel through it so thats new. also i thought it was fuel pump but that seems to work fine. runs fine once on i also had run seafoam through my bike as i bought it a few months ago and guy said it sat for a while any help would be appreciated

Do you know whether or not the choke, (fuel enrichment) is working? Also, how long has it been like this? I'm not sure where you live, but when the weather gets cooler engines can get very hard to start if the choke isn't working properly. So if it started easier when it was hotter, but now it's not, I'd guess your choke is at fault. In essence, when you are pouring gas in the carbs, you are simulating the choke.
You say it runs fine once it's started.
Can you leave it standing at idle for extended periods of time after you get it started? Will it idle for a couple of minutes without any throttle whatsoever?
And what RPMS are you idling at?

Yes, it does very much sound like a choke issue to me too ... my own F3 would be a nightmare to start on cold days if I didn't use full choke, perhaps it has seized on the linkage?
If you are stripped down enough to pour petrol in the carbs you should be able to check if the choke cable is activating the choke linkage etc.
Good luck and keep us informed please, I can give you detailed photographs of my choke linkages if need be :-)

yes it idles great and can stand idling for however long it wants to it idles at about 2 when its fully warmed up i usaully start it with the idle screw fully up but i feel when it started it runs great its just getting it started people said its carb or fuel pump but idk why if it runs great when its on

I think the idle speed of 2000rpm is a bit high for a warm engine and therefore you are trying to start it with a too rich mixture. Once the bike is running and at normal temperature, lower the idle to around 1200-1300 rpm and see if it helps the bike to start next time it is cold.
