Default Hard to start?

If i let it sit for a couple of hours it has to crank a long time before it will start. It runs fine once started. If i turn it off for 5 or 10 minutes it starts right up. Could it be the fuel pump not keeping up the pressure?
Please hep. Larry

does it prime when you turn the switch? check the fuel presure regulator. Run some seafoam through your bike on a lowish tank. Just in case injectors are a little cloged up.

The battery seam week and the fan comes on with the switch. This is in a sandrail. Im wondering if the fan is pulling too much juice from the battery and whatever is needed for priming is not getting enough power.

if the batt is weak or the fan running it would be hard to start put a switch on the the fan wire that lets you control when it runs from the seat. carge the batt for a night on a 1.5 amp charger. then start it see what happens, if you havent put the fan on a switch unplug it before trying to start..........are you useing the original fuel pump or aftermarket?

Charge up the battery. But my bike, the fan does not turn on when starting. Fan should turn on an off with the temp. The priming sound is more of a loud buzzing.
