when i bought my cbr, the guy said that it runs but there was a problem with the second gear? he said it pops back out so usually he would switch from first to third, ignoring second, and it would run fine. i haven't riden on it since i got it cause i just barely got it over this weekend, he also told me that theres nothing wrong with the second fork, cause when he did an oil change, there wasn't any shaving inside the oil. he also stated that the previous owner was modifying the bike for racing. so im not really sure what's the problem. any ideas or suggestion on the situation? plus if i were to replace the whole entire gear box, how much would it cost for labor plus the supplies?
