Default RE: f2/f3 TRUNK KIT

I shot them an email and this is what they replied.
The dimensions of the storage bin we provide with the Trunk Kit is 3" deep,
10" from front to back, and 7" across which narrows to 5". So it is
slightly "T" shaped. The bin goes in place of the owner's manual tray. You
cut the bottom of the tray out and put our bin in its place. You will also
be able to utilize the space between the side panel and the frame, because
you will no longer have to remove the side panels to get underneath the
seat. This space is great to carry rain gear and bungee net if you choose
to. Please let us know if you have any other questions and have a great
day!

I had that kit on my F3. Its okay. The storage space was cool but the bin is actually too deep. If you install per the directions, the bin will peek below the rear fairings. I mounted mine a few inches higher and it still peeked out on the bottom (its the black peice just in front of the rear license plate below the rear tail fairings:

The seat is secured by solenoids. This was the best feature of the kit as it provides easy access. Its also the worst feature of this kit. The soleniods get dirty easily and often stick.

does it only go through if you have integrated tail lights or on all? I think I'm gonna go for it. Just need to find a small flexible magnetic tank bag I can stuff in there. Thanks everyone! By the way transamlt1man do you check the forum 24/7? Your replys are close to instant!
