F1 light/bucking
I own an 02 CBR F4i. I replaced my stock turn signals with hotbodies flush mounts. I was told my running lights are much brighter than before and it was suggested the problem I'm going to describe is attributed to my battery. However I just bought a new battery last month and I've had no problems. Later that night (after installing my flush mounts) I was riding and I noticed a bucking. At first it was any time I was under 4 rpms. Today it is worse. At 70 mph, all power was killed. The bike turned off only to kick back in within seconds. If the rpm's drop below 4 the bucking begins and the bike dies and it takes a minute before I can start it back up. Before it dies, the F1 light turns on. This does happen at various speeds, various rpms but it does happen almost every time I drop below 4. The bike idles just fine..problems begin when I start moving. I read in a previous forum, that someone replaced the kill switch sensor and all was ok.
I'm wondering if my problem could be related to the new flush mounts as the problem began almost immediately after. Perhaps something with the wiring and it's draining the battery...
Or could it be something else?
