Default Engine rebuild.

Well, I have completely taken apart my spare engine that I had in my back yard. Everything seemed to be fine except for the piston rings. They are ****ered. Anyway, Does anyone have any tips/hints on rebuilding engines? I can also take pictures and put them on here if anyone is interested just let me know. Any ideas will be appreciated. The engine is 94 cbr f2. I am thinking about rebuilding it for myself and swapping it out with whats in my bike or finding a 900rr engine, but that is proving to be harder than expected.

Changing Engine sizes? I have thought about doing this for my old 88 Hurricane. How can you be sure what parts are able to fit.? I worry a 90 or 93 engine would be just off enough to be a waste of money. I would like to know what can be done to swap out models and years. Or where to research what can fit. Keep us posted I would like to hear how your project goes.
Good luck
