This started when I missed a gear hitting it hard off a stop light a few days ago UGH. It seemed to be fine immediately afterwards, RPM’s came down, popped it back in gear and continued home (a few miles). I thought I noticed clicking coming from my fuel pump, but it was late and the bike didn’t seem to be performing differently so I dismissed that.
The next time I went to ride it to a buddy’s house a day or so later, I noticed the loud than normal clicking come back from the fuel pump. The bike seemed fine for a few miles, but then coming to a stop light it died.
I pulled over and let it sit, then fire it back up. It would start, but when I give it gas it would die. And now, I can start it, runs good with the choke on, take the choke off and it bogs and dies. Also giving it gas it immediately dies. I replaced the pump thinking the clicking was a sign and still exactly the same, still clicks with the new pump and dies when given gas. I’m leaning towards something with the carbs but you guys know more than me. I just even heard maybe a stuck float?? Thought I’d ask your opinions before starting to tear into it.
Oh and it was running fine before this, carbs rebuilt 3 years ago, with new air filter and fuel filter as well.
Thanks guys!

Update:
So I started to tear apart the bike to get to the carbs. See attached images. I found debris in the carb, the strange thing is there was a foam piece in there, a large one. I originally thinking it was from the fuel filter. I cut it open only to find it was intact and did not have "foam" in there. So that wasn't it.
It's also not from the air filter, that was intact and not made of foam either. I have no idea how this got in there. If it didn't get in through the fuel filter, or the air filter, I have no idea where it came from?? I cleaned out the carbs and reassembled everything. I have a new fuel filter coming in a day or so and then I'll see if it starts and runs.
Any idea on where the foam came from is appreciated.
There is nothing in the carburetors that looks like that. I'd say it was left over from the last time it was serviced. Just toss it and move on. There isn't any way for something that size to get to that location with the slides in place. It had to be there when it was reassembled. Don't be shy about splitting the bodies off the rails. The T joints between the carburetors are notorious for leaking. Replacing the O rings now is much easier than having to pull the carburetors again.
