So I'm still on the side of the road so I haven't had the chance to start troubleshooting what happened yet but i wanted to present what happened to you so i might have a direction to start heading in. I started abby up and she fired right up like normal and i head off to school. About 10 minutes into it I feel a clunk or something and shifting gets vague and washy. The note of the exhaust goes from one note to two (the normal and a new lower one) and abby won't stay running. Once I get her back to the house I can pull the fairings but this sounded internal.

I did a quick vis and nothing. Will update you when I get home.

 

Damn C, that sucks. Did it sound in any general direction. Top, bottom, or just the motor area...Odd that it wont stay runnign though. I ran out of gas this morning and had to push it into the station hah..Wish it was just that for ya though. Wish I could be of assistance. Hope you get it sorted man.

 

Yea it's a bummer. Wish it were gas too but I still have about 75 miles left in the tank. And I couldn't tell exactly where I came from. Oil is good exhaust looks good, going to pull the fairings.

 

Maybe start with a simple compression test - bummer Dude
