Default Electrical ?????

I just changed the fairing on my 2008 cbr1000. after rehooking up all the wires i have no power. battery is charged. What do i do

recheck that you didn't miss a connector, the battery cables are clean and tight, and check the "main" fuse. the main fuse is located outside the fuse box. follow the positive cable from the battery and you will find it, probably under a cover.

On fuel injected bikes there is a Bank Angle sensor that kills the bike in case of a wreck. My understanding is that they're usually located somewhere in the front fairing. If you put it back in the wrong way, the bike can think it's on it's side and not be able to start or run. My bikes are carbureted, so I don't have one of them.

I've read several threads where the BAS was installed upside-down and it wouldn't start. I don't know if the engine would still crank or not. He says it has no power, like there's no lights or anything when he turns the key on.
