EBC-HH BRAKE PAD QUESTION...
Do the EBC-HH pads work well on for street applications? I read somewhere that "race" pads took longer to heat upso you would loose some grip when using them on the street...
I ride pretty hard and would like to do a track day or two, but I wouldn't say my riding style would warrant any "race-only" products... thanks in advance for any help rendered...

The standard HH pads (part # starts with FA ) work OK on the street (pretty much the same as the stock Honda pads) and pretty well on the track (better than the stock Honda pads, but not by much). But I've found that the braking power starts to dimish pretty rapidly at about 1/2 life.
The "kit" HH race pads (part # starts with GFA ) DON'T work well on the street at all, they just don't get hot enough, on the track they pretty good as well but there are better pads out there.
If you want some really good street / trackday pads check out Carbon Lorraine SBK-3 They are bar none the best street / trackday pad I have ever tried and I've run a lot of different pads in the past.
But bottom line DO NOT use "race" pads on the street, they actually give you less braking power then a "street" pad.
