ok well i dumped my 05 cbr1000rr but im ok and the bike isnt to bad , the problem is that the frame slider actually bent from such hard inpact ( no cut frame sliders) and when it bent it broke the water pump housing and antifreeze was every where , now i got all the new parts and as im looking at a way to put this on i noticed that the second bolt i need to get to is behind the frame . im thinking i gotta drop the motor some how . im just wondering if anyone has done it on this new of a bike yet ?? i dont really wanna pull the motor on such a new bike i really hate doing that unless its absolutly necessary , i was wondering if i just pulled the motor mounts off and losend the swingarm pivot bolt will it let the motor move free atleast a half inch , thats all it looks like i need to get the bolt out . any info is greatly appreciated . thanks in advanced.

 

From what I hear your going to need to drop the motor (not sure what all that entails but it doesn't sound like fun)
