Default Dumped her today.

I'm an idiot and wasn't paying attention. I was coming to a stop light, downshifted into second at about 30, as soon as I touched my brake lever the bike hit the ground. I flew over the handlebars, smacked my face on the pavement. Rolled to my right shoulder and elbow and slid 40-50 feet with my bike. Being the dumbass that I was, I started braking in the middle of the lane where there just happened to be a nice oil slick.

Bike has some road rash. Nothing broke. I have a nick on my right knee, didn't even bring blood, and an oil spot on my jacket. My glasses were in my front pocket and they got bent. Oh, and there's a little nick on the front of my helmet.

Wee! My first (and hopefully only) wreck.

Just as well there's a crash bar lurking under the side pane, or she'd have looked much worse.[X(]
Bad luck, happens to us all, glad you're OK

A good ride is any ride you can walk away from......
A great ride is when you get to use the bike again.

That was clearly a great ride

Yeah, I won't go out without my jacket/gloves/helmet on. I enjoy living too much.

The funny thing is, I got done sliding... there was a car on the lane to the right of me and one to the left. I looked up and all of them were wide mouthed gaping back at me. I picked up the bike, revved it. I glanced around to make sure nothing broke and the light turned green. Off I went!

I was more embarassed and in shock than anything.

Good man - definitely falls in the GREAT RIDE category.
Lucky no-one ran over any of your bits (arms, legs, bike, etc)
You can buy a spare piece for the fairing, over the crash bar, probably e-Bay is best bet.
If I knew which model it was I'd start looking for a bit for you.....slow day today......
