Also, rotate the wheel by hand when it is on a stand and check for any binding links. Verify that the wheel is aligned straight (don't go by the hash marks).

I lubed the crap out of this chain already. Wheel is aligned straight and there is no binding or anything of that nature. It's just a mystery to me. A new chain on a new bike shouldn't make this much noise
