Thumbs up Desperate NEED for HELP with my CBR 250, new rider

Whats up everyone! So I am a new rider and I picked a 2012 honda cbr 250R to learn how to ride on. Been riding the bike for a couple weeks now and last week I looked down and my cluster gauge was not working. I replaced the 10a fuse and it worked again, until I started riding again. So I figured, after reading on the forum I probably have a short and with my minimal skills I took off the side fairings and the cluster gauge in an attempt to find an exposed wire or something. I couldnt figure out where the harness led to and just taped up any wires that looked in bad condition. Put it all back together and then replaced the fuse, started the bike and instantly the fuse blows. Where as before I would ride it for a bit and then it would blow. Also, when I took the fairings off I then noticed it was shorting every time I pressed the left blinker. I NEED HELP, I cant find any diagrams for the electricals for the bike and I really dont wanna take it to the shop if its an easy fix but I dont know enough about bikes yet. If anyone can help, thank youuu

Start at the bulb. See if the filament is shorting to ground. If all good, follow the harness from the bulb.
