Default NEED HELP !CLUSTER: speedometer etc.

I need HELP!!! I just put on flushmount turn signals on my '04 CBR600rr and I got everything back togeather, but my cluster (speedometer, temperature, miles) doesnt come on anymore! My time is still there, which always is when the bike is off, I think I could have blew a fuse, but not sure!! If I did blow a fuse, where is my fuse box? There is a box behind the cluster, but it doesnt look like there is any way to get into it.

I had the same problem when i did my short stalks...i blew a fuse...Your fuse box is under the left fairing..i think under the mid right by the seat..im checking my manual to see if it shows a cluster fuse...u may have something wired wrong...if it blew a fuse..a wire is crossed.I would pull it all apart and make sure there isnt something wired wacko.

Thanks alot, but I have another question!!! I did take the fairing off, and it did blow the fuse, and I tried another fuse, also blew! All I did was re-wired the turn signals, why should this affect my cluster, and how should my turn signals be wired to avoid this. I went from the original 3 wires, to my new signals that are 2 wired!!

Well it would seem to me..and im not pro..thats something isnt grounded right.I know its a pain in the bottom but u will need to make sure that it is grounded otherwise youll never get it out the door.I would also dbl check the wiring schematic on the package it may be wired different than u assume.I had the same problem with my LP Shorties.I thought the black wire was automatically ground and it turned out not to be it after all..SO check the package..and check your wiring.

Okay, I checked everything, I am almost 100% positive that I have the wiring correct now! But I have that one extra wire (most likely ground) where do I hook that up to ground it?

OK..u habe 3 wires from harness...solid /solid with stripe and black(ground)..so u want to hook up solid color and ground and not wire with stripe as this is your running lights that u will lose when u install a 2 wire system. It seems u have power running to the ground.

Are these Hotbodies Flushies?

you have it hooked up wrong, aftermarket is usually 2 wire, stock is 3 wire, make sure u got the grounds correct then decide if you want running lights or turn signals, use a circuit tester to find the right wire and then hook them up, make sure to use the same size fuse that is blown and everything should be ok after that
