Default Cutting chain to size - omg noob...

How the heck do i cut the links so the chain will fit my bike, they said they cut the chain to size but i have a few links extra, i know exactly what pin i need to cut, but i did a practice run on one of the others and it looks like i tossed that link down the garbage disposal and then hooked it back onto the chain =X.

Basicaly, how do i get the little pin pushed out of the hole, i have the tool, but it didnt come with an instruction manual, it has 3 pieces the bolt with a hole in the middle, a flat piece with a rod coming out the back looks like this } (i think thats for clamping the chain, and then a little thing that looks like a dreedle for honika.

i just bought a motionpro breaker. works wonders. http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/...chain_breaker/
assuming you have an endless chain like i do, this is what i used to take pins out of mine, and since im too poor to buy a rivet tool for the chain i used the same tool+ a screwdriver to put the new pins in
