Default Cush-to-wheel space?

How much space should there be between the cush hub and the wheel (see picture)? It seems to me that there should be a slight (0.005-0.010" at most) gap to prevent the cush hub from actually ridding on the wheel. Can someone please measure/take a snap shot of a factory cush hub on the wheel?

note: in case someone would ask, this is an F4i wheel but I'm converting it to work with the 25mm 600RR axle

I don't know how much there's supposed to be. All I know is I tightened the rear axle to torque spec and figure the Honda designers took care of the rest

Chris,

You are showing a pic of an F4 cush drive...not an F4"i".

On the F4 cush drive...YES, there is a tiny gap btwn the cush & the wheel. I measure approx 1.00 mm +/-.

Here's a pic of my F4 wheel/cush on the bike...

Thanks, that really helps! When I was making my cush spacer I guessed the gap should be about 1.00mm as that seemed to feel right, but it's nice to have some hard numbers to go by as well.

I'm almost finished with the 25mm F4 rear wheel conversion (still have to do the front wheel). I just need to finalize the outer wheel spacers to center the wheel in the swing arm. The "How-to" I posted in the How-to section is getting ridiculously long and complicated.
