Default Crimp too tight?

recently bypassed kill switch and rewired starter. Question is whether or not you can crimp too tight will it not allow enough current through if you do?

The only thing that can go wrong with crimping too tight is cutting the wire inside the crimp and over time it coming loose.
The chances are very slim on that though.
But if your using a crimping tool it has spots for each guage so that you can crimp it perfectly
