Coolant overflowing

Coolant overflowing
The bike-87 CBR1000F Hurricane. About 6 weeks ago, I had to replace a thermostat-the bike was overheating and puking coolant out of the overflow tank. With the new thermostat, everything is groovy and I'm riding around as normal. Tonight, while the temp guage was right where I like to see it, the goddamn thing began puking coolant out of the overflow tank again. It wasn't overfilled. The water pump was pulled about 6 weeks ago to check it out just for fun-no leaking at the weep hole and every thing spins like it was brand new. I didn't see any evidence of funk in the coolant or passages that I could see. What would cause this??? I'm totally baffled. The only thing I haven't replaced is the radiator cap-I can't imagine that this would cause the overflow tank to, um, overflow... Clogged radiator? Gremlins? A jealous FZR rider?? I'm so frustrated that I can't see straight. Thanks!

RE: Coolant overflowing
radiator caps are pressure regulated mate, it could be the problem but i raced a vfr400 that had no problems with thermostat, cap pump... i just raced it hard..
there wasnt a problem with the bike it just spewed cooland for some reason beknown to me or the mechanics..
you'll be surprised what a rad cap can do.. they are designed to vent at a certain pressure, and if it fails, the pressure in your cooling system gets too high, it will inadvertantly come out the overflow mate..
