Evening all,

I thought I would replace the gasket that sits where the link pipe joins the collector box as the old one was knackered.......what a ball ache this has turned into!!

The Honda genuine item is slightly too small on the ID 47.66mm vs. my pipe OD of 48.17mm - its like half a mm, but I've already fecked up one gasket, and they're a tenner a pop!! Is there any way of getting these things to expand, like putting them in hot water?! :-D

The only option I can think of at the moment is to put a slot in it so it slides over, and then should hopefully close up with the clamp...?

Starting to wonder if the headers are non-standard....
