Default Clutch Tension Problems...........HELP!

Yea i took my clutch cover off the other day on my cbr 900 and was lookin around to see how everything was lookin in there and when i went to put my clutch cover back on i didnt have any tension on my cable that went in there.Ive tried for hours to get it all to line up in the clutch but havent been able to get it to work.Just wondering if there was some special trick or somthin i dont know about.Thanks

I'm not totally sure how the 900s work but if there is a rod going through the top of the clutch cover to the center of the cover on the inside, then as you're putting the clutch cover on, you'll have to kind of twist that rod so that it engages the clutch basket plunger (I'm guessing the 900s pull out instead of push the clutch diaphragms in like the older 600s). You'll know when you have it engaged because as you twist it will sort of pull the clutch cover to the engine cases.
