Clutch Lever Tension
I've been riding my buddy's 09 GXSR 750 and I noticed his clutch is alot eaiser to pull in.
Is there anyway to make my 02 F4i clutch lever eaiser to pull in?
I was looking at Pazzo shorty levers, but do they really help with the tension in the clutch?

I got the shorty style Hong Kong pazzo rippoffs and love them.
I think they actually made the clutch pull easier than the stock levers because of the style. Atleast the pull is ALOT shorter than stock and can now easily rip clutch wheelies with 1 finger.
The new gsxrs are completely different bikes with slipper clutch's so i would expect the feel would be alot different. Probably alot smoother than the f4i.

my gf replaced her f4i clutch lever with a stock shape one, just black and hers was really hard, just adjusted the wire and it became a lot easier and was able to keep where it caught at the same distance out.
The F4i has one of the easiest clutch levers I've ever pulled. I would look into the movement in the area where the clutch cable attaches to the engine on the right side of the bike - that area is where most of the resistance would come from. Replacing the clutch cable may also help.
Well, f4i is a dry clutch, I don't know about a gxsr.
Not to thread jack, can someone post a really short video of their clutch movement on the engine? I'm worried there may be damaged internals, and I want to make sure my clutch is engaging and disengaging properly.

Well considering that i just replaced mine here 1 week ago and the instructions said to let the new plates soak in oil and then you fill the case with motor oil defiantly not a dry clutch.
But it OK we all have an off day.
As for the clutch lever have you thought about lube or it could be that its just getting old and may need to be replaced because it is stretched out. I also had to replace the cable because it was stretched out. It was only 3/8 in" stretched but it was enough to make it hard to get a good pull because you had to pull to the handle to disengage with a full adjustment.
