Clutch problem
Hey all
My 92 cbr900rr has a bit of a shudder if you take off in first gear and let the clutch out relatively normally, with regualr revs. The only way to avoid it is to ride the clutch until the bike is moving relatively smoothly.
The interesting thing is that the bike is moving just fine when i'm slipping the clutch and there aren't any noises or anything, But when i fully let out the clutch that's when the shudder happens.
The sound resembles a bit the noise you would hear if you let out the clutch with very low revs (almost stalling the bike).
btw, there is no shudder (sometimes there is a little tiny bit of shudder) , if the bike is slowly moving in 1st when i let the clutch out.
Thanks for your help
Ivan

Sounds like you have a warped plate or your discs have become glazed. How many miles do you have on the odometer? Are these actual engine miles, or is there a possibility the original odometer has been swapped?

I have around 18 000 miles on it. I think the bike is still with the factory clutch
