Default Clutch handle play?

I was messin with my bke and noticed that I have a little play in my clutch handle? I was wondering if that was normal or if I need to get it to the shop. Ive had the bike 2 weeks now and its brand new. 280 miles....

Yes, you should always have some free-play in your clutch handle. If you didn't, it would mean your clutch was not fully being released when you let go of the handle, and that's a good way to burn up a brand new clutch. If you read your owners manual, you'll have the specs for your clutch level freeplay, keep it in specs with that.

I think it's a lot of personal preference too. I like as very little play in the clutch and throttle as possible. No you don't have to take it to the shop to do it there are two things that you turn to adjust it. The cables stretch over time so you'll need to do it, everyone does. If you want pics or anything PM me and I can give you step by step but it's pretty easy to figure out how to do it.

I like to keep my clutch loose as possible so its really easy to pull in but I like my throttle tight as hell so its easier to fine tune my gas consumption.
