Cleaning the exhaust headers
Hi
Bought a 2002 Cat C CBR600F just before Christmas and removed the Exhaust, covered in a brown layer..so first I brushed on Harpic, then after 15 minutes washed off, after looking at various Internet options, found kitchen style wire wool, very coarse, and WD40 brings off the brown stuff, near the cylinder head area.
I think I am still left with some more serious corrosion, I will be trying a few more options, believe they are stainless steel
But looks 85% better, than it did
I have some metal polish, but first to get rid of the brown stuff
