Loosing battery charge on my 98(motor) 900rr, Battery is new. Haven't checked for drains yet, really haven't done anything. I only have access to an automotive load tester and really don't want to load the bike with it. Bike will run after jumped, but will not restart, or charge battery. No noticable change in head light intenisty when using another load (brake likes, horn). Never a slow start either, good one min, then poof, dead.
I know I might have to change the stator, not a big deal labor wise, I just don't want to fork out the $307 for this old bike, (93 frame). Are there any normal charging system failures with the 900rrs??
