RE: Chain and rotors are rusty
Get the back end up and loosen the chain adjusters all the way. Clean the chain with kerosene or whatever floats your boat. Spin it around and see if you have any kinking tendencies going on. If it wants to kink up or if the rust leaves pits then change the chain. If you ever have to store it again for an extended time there's some stuff you can buy to spray on metal surfaces to keep it from rusting.
The rotors are o.k. -- rotors just rust ... that's what they do.

RE: Chain and rotors are rusty
Well I went to town with some steel wool and got a lot of the rust off the chain. Although there are no kinking tendencies, the rust areas are spotted black. I lubed the chain and the bike runs fine...not sure how much of a pain it is to change the chain but I may end up doing that regardless. Even worse is how many bolts and nuts, especially around the brakes, corroded. Even after the steel wool theres a few that simply need to be replaced. Its extremely irritating because I like to keep my bike looking new at all times.

Careful With that Steel Wool, it leaves bits everywhere don`t wont them clogging your chain up, Acf-50 is good to prevent rust......
Obviously you can`t use it on the rotors.
