Chain links
I'm getting close to replacing the chain and sprockets on my CBR. I was doing some research and found something interesting. As I was looking for ways to connect the chain. I found a master link that has screws instead of rivets. But, looking at the pic, how the hell does this work?? How does it not hit the sprocket cover in the front or the brakes in the back?!?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I don't think those are screws at all, they kinda look like pop rivets to me, so when you screw it in it mashes the rivet down and then breaks off once it's done
Yeah, those are nice. Wish I'd known about them before getting a riveter. It sounds to me like in their description, they're simply advising against using a clip for anything other than dirt. It does appear as though this one's OK to use on street. Wouldn't hurt giving them a call.
Let us know if you get it and how it works out if you do.

I've got a bid in on a riveting kit on ebay. Hell I'll need to replace another chain in the future. I dont wanna cheap out and get whipped across the back because of a broken master link.
