probably if u have tried wd 40 before and it gave u problems... the problems were prolly there before and the wd 40 made it so clean u could see what was goin on with the chain.

I spray tons of wd-40 on a towel and clean it like that
then after 5min I put some Chain Wax

I clean the side plates with WD-40. Then I lube the top of the bottom run with PJ-1 (black) spray. This way it runs into the chain. I do this when the chain is hot, let it sit overnight and the spray turns to a grease that won't fly off.
