I did check the chain, It looks like its in good shape and not too loose. Seems to have the right adjustment and didnt move at all when I tried to pull it off of the center of the rear sprocket. Sprockets look good too....
Thanks for the thought though, any others?

What section of Clymers is that in? Gas isnt old, the guy rides the bike a bit, although that could be it, I doubt it. Maybe thats why the guy is in such a hurry to dump it. Says he doesnt hear it......I know the bike doesnt have NEAR the pickup that my F4 did....my F4 was geared down but it shouldnt make THAT big of a difference.
I DONT want to buy something with compression issues at 5K miles...Still waiting to get the title but will pay more for something that runs well...

Yea, I think the "on-off" squeal is a good way to put it. That would manafest when "engine braking" I would think. Bike did seem underpowered when I rode it compared to my 2000 F4....and it shouldnt be. Seems weird that a bike with this few miles would have that issue.....
He also said something about getting the FI light turned off/fixed but hasnt produced any paperwork for any repairs...damn, think I am going to have to pass on this one
