Default CBR954 braking distance

Hey,

Can anyone point me to where I can find 'braking distance' specifications of the 954?

or does anyone know the braking distance from 80mph to stopped on the 954?

A cop claimed I left a 189ft skid mark at my crash site and estimated my speed at 80mph...don't seem right

I don't see how that can help you.

If you did indeed leave a skid mark, you're no longer braking. Braking distances are measured as the brakes are applied and not locked up.

OK, but my point is that if I left such a skidmark, I'd have been traveling at a considerably higher rate of speed than 80mph...or am I crazy?

dont admit guilt whatever you do[sm=smiley2.gif]. I do know police use a math formula including weight of vehicle and skid distance to get a somewhat accurate account of speed. Wish I knew the formula but, maybe he was a bad math student.
