Could be ,but just to find out that its getting the right voltage signal from the ECU try the pink wire

Another thought, with the front end receiving damage have you by-passed he Bank Angle Sensor and the Clutch switch

Both wires on the ignition are red, and no I have not joined them.

Sorry matey , went back to a USA bike there, meant pink wire on the antenna collar, and did you say you havent by-passed the other two safety switches

No problem haha, no I have not, the switch where the clutch perch and lever are is smashed up from the accident

Could explain a few things, the loom will still need by-passing to act as the switch, completing the circuit if you like, just a jumper wire between the appropriate wires
