Default Cbr600rr 2003 Fuel pump prime issues

The issues I’m having is if I hit a bump the fuel pump cuts, but if I remove the tank fairing and seat and tilt the tank up off of the rear two bolts it primes instantly and starts just fine. So I’ve bypassed the bas, checked pink wire voltage it’s 9v, fixed some fuel leaks, swapped the whole harness, and swapped ecus.

Also I swapped relays checked fuses all seem to be working fine, kill switch does it’s job.

Swapping the whole harness and the ecu sounds a bit excessive but it does sound like a bad connection, try a wiggle test concentrating on the earth points.

So I should’ve said this before but I got this bike with just the frame and engine and swing arm and tires on it. I had to install a harness, ecu, fairings, bleed brakes, install clutch cable etc. one wire I was confused about was the green grounds by the fuse panel with the eye lids on the end that a bolt goes threw. I just installed the grounds to the frame via the fairing bracket on the left side of the frame. Is that the right spot?

Did some digging it’s the wires that go to the pump itself the three little ones so I just gotta figure out which one in particular is giving the issue.

Good call on the 'wiggle' test. Can solve a multitude of problems!!
Great that you found the problem area. Fingers crossed you get it sorted.
