Unhappy cbr600rr 06 turn signals not working

I'm repairing an 06 CBR600RR.
It's nearly ready for registration.
The turn signals were working when i only had the stock rear turn signals connected.
I've got LED mirrors and flush mount LED indicators in the fairing.
I started with the left side and soldered the two positive wires and two negative wire of the two left indicators.
I then tested the turn signals, still working with a fast flash rate but the LED indicators seemed a litte dim.
Then held a resistor across the soldered wires to check the effect on the flash rate.
Flash rate slowed down but the LED indicators were even dimmer and got dimmer each flash.
They then stopped working.
I checked the turn signal fuse, all good. Even jumped the turn signal fuse to make sure.
Checked the bulbs on the rear turn signals, all good.
I've got a spare speedometer which i connected to check if it might be the turn signal relay but still no luck.
The brake light is also not working.
The hazard light switch is also not working.
The horn is not working.
The pass switch is working.
The high beam switch is working.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

This is why I hate LEDs. Tried them once on an old bike - hated it. The resistors didn't work for me. The flash rate didn't change but they were just dimmer.

For ALL that stuff not to work - check all your fuses. The way you described it, you wired the LEDs in parallel. They should be in series.
