I posted a few days ago about a missing fuel pump stud. I've put gas in and it appears to be holding well. Today I got my CBR running again for about an hour. The FI light stayed lit after the initial start. After the bike warmed up it would die after reving the engine. Found that I forgot to connect the air temp sensor. So after plugging that back in the bike started and ran fine for a while. After about 30-45 minutes of riding the bike would die when I brake hard. So I stopped in to say hey to the folks and when I went to leave I had the bike die and not want to start back up. I can hear the fuel pump prime properly, but after attempting to start I can hear it whine again. I did replace the fuel filter with a non OEM filter while I had it drained of gas, but I figure if that was the problem it would have been an immediate issue, not delayed an hour. Any ideas?
