CBR600 F4I oil pressure light on, no oil leak….PLS HELP
Whats going on guys? I need some help. Long story short, ended up crashing on the highway. Lost 5th gear, took the engine out to replace transmission gears. Put everything back in, plugged everything back in. Ended up have an oil leak from water pump seal and fixed it. Bike runs, has a weird noise from the top of the engine and the oil pressure light is on. Thought the noise was the cam chain tensioner but i just replaced that too. I was hearing a noise before i crashed so i changed the tensioner and the noise went away. Figured the light was on because of the oil leak, but now that it’s fixed and it’s still on, I'm stumped. I just changed the oil and oil filter so it isn't that. The oil pressure light wasn't on before i fixed the gears. Im guessing theres no oil getting to the top of the engine hence the noise. Please help!
I guess is similar to my f2 and the path that the oil follows is from the oil cooler in the front to the gears then to the bottom of the pistons and up to the camshaft.
Before the camshaft must be an oil pressure sensor, check that first, check if it's still working and then unscrew it to make sure that oil is comming out of that point.
If you see oil following that hole means that it has oil circulating and maybe something is blocking the oil or it just a bad sensor.
