Hello. I recently bought a cbr400rr which someone has wedged a cbr600 engine into. I need to finish it but am after a longer side stand.

For some reason the side stand on it seems to be about 3 CMS too short so the bike leans over dangerously close to falling over.

I measure it as 24cm but ideally need a 27.5 cm

Does anyone know of a honda stand that will fit?

Any help much appreciated.

I ended up buying another Nc23 side stand, cutting it in half just below the lower spring mount and welding in a longer bit of bar from another side stand I had and covering it in black gloss. The bit I welded in was a hollow bit of thick pipe but the main honda side stand is solid bar. Mine might be a bit long, I recommend 4cm as mine was around 5cm added in and I think it might have been a bit long! Will probably reweld it shorter this week some time. Hope this helps!
