not much use to you sorry, but I'VE just removed mine two weeks ago, but got a shop to do it. Haynes will tell you and they're available on this forum so you can follow that.

Deffo remove though, I come down on mine at 80mph in Austrian Alps in August and it nearly threw me down a 1200ft cheer drop... never rode the same since until I took it off!

Default Centre stand

Thanks Pug, Ive changed my can for a Yoshi. The standard Honda can has a stoper for the cenre stand. so at the moment I have the stand coming up on the chain, not good. Its okay when I sit on but I just want it off now.
Where can I find the Haynes?

Cheers

Just for you Yeah get it sorted fella and get a paddock stand, plus, although the crentre stand is epic for just being handy it's also ugly and extra weight!!! BTW, we like pictures of bikes man!!! make it happen!

Couldn't find anything in Haynes, not evena mention of the centre stand. Got the spring off, stand down. Not sure now how to get the centre pin out, which is holding the stand on

From that picture, and this fiche, it looks like once you remove number 8 and nessacary parts, that should beat out of there? Slide out from the left? Try a mallet like you would the front axle and try to tap it out...
