Default cbr400 wheel swap - suitable wheels?

Im thinking about swapping the stock rear 18 inch wheel on my 1989 cbr400 to 17 inch wheel, for easier access to tyres.

Does anyone know, or can anyone point me to a resource that can confirm what other bikes have a 17 inch rear wheel that is a straight swap?

thanks for that.

I had seen elsewhere that the cbr600 F2 and F3 rear wheels would slot straight in as well, but Im waiting for further confirmation before I go and do that.

400's were never hugely common over here, so chances of fining an nc29 rear wheel are slim, but a cbr wheel is reasonable common, I used to have an F2 about 10 years ago, and there are a few of them around

Hi Tim, yes seen talk of that but dont know anyone that's done it, always restore my nc23s to original, but as you say the F2 rear wheels are more abundant so could be the way to go, they could be a cheaper rim as well
