Default Suitable tyres

Hi Folks, I'm new to the biking fraternity and I need a set of tyres for my recently purchased 99 600f. I am torn between the Pirelli Diablo Stradas and the Continental Road Attacks, although I have been getting all sorts of advice from others, most noticeably the Bridgestone BT-020 NT's. Can anyone recommend a good all round tyre for someone who is probably going to have square tryes for a couple of years at least? Probs do about 3-4k a year. Scottish roads mind, so lots of rain!!! Thanks in advance.

Whats a tyre? Just kidding, duke, we'll sort you out. Get the Pirelli's, they may wear a wee bit faster, but you'll be safer as you ride! Rubber side down, mate, try and keep it that way!
