Default Cbr nuetral light question

Whats up guys, new here and to bikes. Just picked up a 1995 CBR600f3 from my brother. Fixed up a oil leak, and a few other things and it should be all set. Threw a fat 170 tire on it, has a scorpion shorty on it, new lights, clutch and break lever, and in the process of refinishing it satin black and it looking great already. One electrical question I had is about the neutral light. The bike goes into neutral fine, but my problem is the light does not come on. Ive checked the bulbs and they are all good. I'm assuming the wire going to the neutral lights is bad breaking the circuit but I wanted a second opinion, maybe someone else experienced the same thing. Regardless I'm so excited to finish this up and get it on the road. Thanks!

+2.

single poll switch on the gear box. make sure it's even plugged on. it may have come off during a cleaning.
