Cbr 929 pulses on idle
Hi guys
My 2001 cbr 929 pulses on idle as well as she misses as I go to pull away from a traffic light or stop sign. As I'm letting the clutch out, she rools about 10-15 foot as I roll on the throttle she hiccups. Just once (kind of like she bucks). I can hear the chain lock-up for a split second. No symptoms whatsoever over 2000 rpms. Any suggestions???
Thanks, Joe

idle speed is set around 1500. Only maintenance so far was oil changes. I have a k&n filter and yosh pipe. Every few tanks I do run some injector cleaner with a full tank. Bike has 10,400 miles.

That's low mileage for a 15 year old bike.
Honestly, the 929 low rpm bog seems to be common. Others have complained of it and both the 929s that I have had do that too. I just roll the throttle easy until 2000 rpms, then nail it. I hoping to cure it with a 954 ecm, tb, injector, and cam conversion this winter. They revised the entire injection system in 03, so maybe it will work. Keep an eye out for my thread in a few months...

Thank you.
Sounds good. I'll keep an eye out for you.
The bike definitely has low mileage. I picked it up in 05-06 with 5k miles on it. Every year I plan on riding more, but my work schedule gets the best of me and I carry tools, so the pick up is more feasible.
