CBR 600 F3 Not Starting???
What's up guys, I have a 98 Smokin Joe's F3 and had it stored for a few months with the battery pulled out and kept in my house. I went to take it for a spin the other day, and when I put the battery in, nothing happened. I tried to turn on the ignition and not even the headlight would come on, so I charged the battery and even hooked it along with the bike up to a starter...still no power even to the headlight. No engine turn over, no clicking, nada. Any suggestions on what I may need to do to get it working again without taking it to a shop and spending a fortune?

Yeah they do have more fuses and the main fuse box is located on the on the starter motor magnetic switch behind the left side cover. Check there, I have a 98 600f3 and that is what my manual said. I haven't had the oppurtunity to check for it yet but I know the honda manual isnt wrong.
However, if you left your bike sitting in the cold then I would check the connection to the battery or the battery itself. If your lights doesnt come on then I would check those things. But checking the fuse doesnt hurt.
Good luck

Thanks for the help, turns out the fuse on the left side of the bike, in front of the battery was the problem. Now the bike turns over, but unfortunately no bueno...think the carbs may be a little dirty...pulled the plugs and cleaned them off, all have spark but they were kind of wet when they were pulled out...what happens now? any ideas on a newbie cleaning the carb would be liked...what about the air filter...if it is old and dirty could that be a problem?
