Wow, that's pretty cool!
Are you sure that the carbs or fuel system are not vapor locking, from heat? I've worked on cars all of my life, and from what you are describing, it sounds like something is getting hot and causin the motor to cut out, especially since the length of time varies. Try putting some form of heat sheild between the carbs and the head. Also check the ignition coil. See if it has spark at one of the plugs, after it cuts out.

as for the gravity fed tank i cant really go that route as they sit quite close to the top of the blukhead. im gonna try a low pressure bike pump. does anyone have a wiring diagram for this?? i heard that cranking and running need different voltages??
dos anoyone know about up jetting to cbr900 jets as it will very son have a 4 2 1 exhaust as well as a cam and head work soo the increased fueling would be good
