Car just backed into my bike
I've got a 96 CBR 600, and had it parked at a friends house in the street, behind a car. Unfortunately shes a friend of mine, but girl hops in her car, slings it into reverse and right into the front of my bike.
The plastic covering the front tire is broken and the kickstand is bent pretty bad, slid the whole bike back almost a foot. I'm amazed it didn't fall over, it was a pretty solid impact.
So obviously those two things, but I'm not sure if the steering is off. I feel like the handlebars are slightly favored to the right. Maybe it was always like that, maybe it wasn't, but I'm noticing it now. Going straight down the road the key is just off to the right, and I feel like my arms are turned slightly. What does that mean?
Obviously she's going to pay for the damage, but is there anything else I should check?

Dam shame that happened mate....
Unless you take her to a shop to get all the alignments checked properly, you wont really know...
You can check front to rear wheel alignment with string...
Check your Wheels for vertical with a small spirit level ...
Measure the handle bars for equal angle on both sides....
but that's about it really ..
If you do not understand how to do those basic checks I mentioned above ,the best thing is to take her to a shop and get the woman to pay for the check up as well as damage..
good luck....

Getting back to serious replies, & not to correct your grammar or descriptions either, ...as CBRclassic recommended, taking it to a shop for having it checked over is your best bet. It will give you peace of mind in knowing whether or not something is truly damaged & wrong w/ it.
Hope its not outta spec & all is ok. Good luck.
