Default Can a rim be fixed?

I have a very faint flat spot on my front rim and am wondering what would be the best direction to go about this. I’m not a rich man by any means so I’d like to go the cheapest route possible. From what I can tell, the flat spot is on my left-hand side and measures about 4" long. So far I can’t even notice this riding si I’m thinking that it may be possible to keep this rim and some how fix it instead of forking out another couple hundred bucks for another one. If anyone has some experience with fixing a bent rim please chime in and walk me thru what I need to do. I’ll try and get a pic to post tonight for better reference. Thanks for reading.

Yes, it can be fixed. But I don't suggest you do it yourself. Bring it to a pro. I suggest GP Frame & Wheel. You can read about my experience here:
