E-Bay $70 ~ looks to be pretty heavy duty. The only thing that concerns me is the pin size. Thought maybe I could buy a Vortex pin and use that. What do you think; should I buy it or save up and buya brand name? Link

Did a little investigative work ~ it appears that the stand pictured above is identical to the onemarketed by Bike-Tek called the "series 3". Except that the "bike-tek" is $104 (vs. $70 generic). Bike-Tek seemsto bea popular brand in the UK so it can't be too bad. Also, the stand comes with (5) pin sizes with more available at their website.

I have the same front stand and a rear spool stand from the same company. I haven't had any problems with them. They seem to be fairly sturdy.
